CRUSH GRAVEL

Areas of use:

8-16 mm

  • Water-permeable material for filling around drainage pipes.
  • Capillary breaking layer under the ground floor slab and in crawl spaces, to prevent soil moisture from rising in building structures. Recommended layer thickness at least 300 mm.

KaM 0-32 mm

  • Bearing layer, well compressible crushed rock to achieve stable bedding for foundation structures and plinths. Recommended layer thickness 100-300 mm. Can be supplemented with finer 0-8 mm or 0-16 mm fraction for more accurate leveling if required.

KaM 0-65 mm

  • Distributing layer. Compressible crushed rock for fillings where the layer thickness is 200-400 mm

KaM 0-90 mm

  • Distributing layer. Compressible crushed rock for fills where the layer thickness is 300-600 mm.

0-150 mm

  • Coarse filling where the layer thickness exceeds 500 mm.

8-16 mm

  • Alternative surface layer, layer thickness approx. 50 mm
  • Advantages: Does not stick to shoe bottoms, easy to rake out weeds
  • Disadvantages: moves more easily when shoveling snow, “soft” surface for e.g. bicycle and wheelchair tires.

16-32 mm

  • Alternative surface for wet areas mainly used by heavy vehicles.

KaM 0-8 mm

  • Leveling material when installing outdoor tiling.

0-16 and 0-20 mm

  • Alternative surface layer, layer thickness approx. 50 mm
  • Forms a relatively hard and even surface when compacted, depending on the stability of the ground, surface water runoff and dust binding.

0-32

  • Bearing layer, well compressible crushed rock to achieve stable foundation. Recommended layer thickness 100-300 mm.

KaM 0-65 mm

  • Distributing layer. Compressible crushed rock for fills where the layer thickness is 200-400 mm.

KaM 0-90 mm

  • Distributing layer. Compressible crushed rock for fills where the layer thickness is 300-600 mm.

8-16 mm

  • Perimeter filling of drainage pipes

0-4 and 0-8 mm

  • Perimeter filling of electrical and fiber cables.

KaM 0-16 mm

  • Leveling layer when installing pipelines
  • Perimeter filling of water and sewage pipes

KaM 0-32 mm

  • Reinforcement of subsoil when installing pipelines
  • Perimeter filling of culverts and larger storm water pipes.

Topsoil

  • Milled soil that can be raked and leveled by hand for plantings and lawns

Fill soil

  • Untreated soil of various types for filling green areas.

Fine sand

  • Water-permeable filling material.
